Founded in 2017 by Greek designer Ioanna Topouzoglou, Mashu was born out of a desire to create vegan accessories that offer sustainability without compromising style.

The appeal of each bag is anchored in Mashu’s signature design features; statement hardware, compelling structures and playful interpretations of classic details.

Embedded within the Mashu DNA is our unmissable aesthetic. The shapes, colours and textures are informed by contemporary objects, Cycladic Mediterranean architecture and intriguing forms found in nature.

The curves of each bag reference the soft bends of Greece’s white-wash buildings, while the brand’s signature hammered hardware reflects the natural ripples and textures of rocks and shells found on Greece’s untouched beaches.

Since launch, Mashu has been committed to driving meaningful change through sustainable innovation and ethical best practice, from materials and supply chain through to production.

Our values go beyond just better materials.
